Masai Mara Safari Package
3 Days & 2 NightsSamburu National Reserve is located at the Northern part of Kenya, on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River, which flows through doum palm groves and thick riverine forests. Together with Buffalo Springs and Shaba National Reserve, they form an unmatched triumvirate of wildlife paradise.
The reserve is a unique wildlife conservation haven for rare species such as the Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich and the Gerenuk. It is also home to other predators such as the lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, crocodiles, elephants, black rhino and over 450 bird species.
Samburu is considered a gem among discerning safari goers because it is relatively uncrowded. Once inside the reserve, there are two visible mountains: Mount Ololokwe and Mount Koitogor.
Did you know that the reserve was once home to the world’s famous Kamunyak, the lioness that adopted 6 beisa oryx calves and fought off predators that attempted to eat her adoptees?
